The Chariton Splash Pad is a new facility added to Bingham Park in 2023. The Splash Pad was a project that was a joint collaboration between the City of Chariton and Splash (local youth leadership group). 

The design of the Chariton Splash Pad is detailed to Chariton and our Chariton Volunteer Fire Department. Old Betsy, our first steam engine fire truck is featured, along with the Chariton Water Tower. 

 Please Help Us Keep the Chariton Splash Pad Safe for Everyone! 

• All Children 10 and Under, Must Be With Someone 16 Years Old or Older.
• Please Only Touch the Little Hand to Start the Splash Pad.

              Do Not Hit, Kick, or Climb on the Blue Pole!

• All Water Features are Programed to Come on at Different Times. Do Not Hit or Climb on the Water Features!
• The Splash Pad is for Everyone to Enjoy. Please Clean Up After Yourself and be Respectful to Others!
• No Rocks on the Splash Pad or Playground.
• Hours of Operations: Monday - Sunday: Noon - 7:00 pm.
• Hours Staffed (During Aquatic Center Season):

      M-F: 1:00 – 7:00 pm  Sat-Sun: 1:00 - 6:00 pm
