OPEN GYM HOURS:

Spring/Summer:  Monday through Friday  9:00am - 3:00pm

Fall/Winter:         Monday through Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm & 6:30pm - 9pm
                          Saturday & Sunday:  8:00am - 5:00pm

The gymnasium is free of charge to the public during open gym hours.

The Chariton Community Center is operated by the Chariton Recreation Department.  The community center offers 2 full size multipurpose courts that can be rented for a variety of activities, including basketball, tennis, and volleyball.  We also offer three 20' x 30' meeting rooms that can be converted into 2 or 3 larger rooms.  There is also a walking track around the gymnasium (14 laps = 1 mile). 

Meeting Room General Rental Fees:

1 Room:  $30 for 2 hours & $7.50 for each additional

2 Rooms: $40 for 2 hours & $10.00 for each additional

3 Rooms: $50 for 2 hours & $12.50 for each additional

The kitchen can be rented for a flat $10.00 fee with any room rental.

 

Non Profit Rental Rates:

$10 per room for 2 hours

Additional hours charged at the same rate as the General Rental fees.

 

Gym Rentals:

1 Courts:  $20 per hour - minimum of 2 hours

2 Courts:  $30 per hour - minimum of 2 hours

1/2 Court: $10 per hour - can only be rented during open gym hours

Recreation Dept team may rent for a 1 hour minimum

 

OTHER:

There is a $25 cleaning/damage/key deposit for all rentals. $100 deposit required for all rentals after 9 p.m.
Setup/cleanup must be done during rental time.
